Ingredients:

50g Perfect Day almond flakes

370g warm milk

100 ml oil

120g flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

50g Perfect Day almond flakes

Preparation:

1. Soak the dates in milk
Soak the pitted dates in warm milk and let them stand for about 1 hour, until they are completely soft.
2. Prepare the cream
Blend the softened dates together with the milk into a smooth, creamy mixture. Transfer the resulting cream to a bowl and add 100 ml of oil. Mix well.
3. Dry ingredients
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda. Mix everything well.
4. Combine the mixture
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the date mixture and mix gently until you get a uniform mixture.
5. Baking
Pour the mixture into a baking tin lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top.
6. Finish
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 Β°C for about 50 minutes.
Check with a toothpick – if it comes out dry, the cake is done.
