Lentil is a grainy legume which contains more protein than meat, and is rich in numerous minerals, vitamins and fiber, which contribute to the activity of the nervous, digestive and cardiovascular systems. Preparation: before cooking, soak the lentils in cold water to soften them. Drain, wash out and cook by your own recipe, with additional ingredients and spices. Lentils are easily prepared as a stew, and go well with various vegetables, legumes and meat.
