As part of the final phase of our CSR campaign “Snack and Donate for a Greener Croatia,” EuroCompany99 actively participated in a large volunteer reforestation initiative in the fire-affected area of Medena near Trogir. Our employees from various teams across Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia joined volunteers and scouts in planting new trees, bringing life back to an area once devastated by wildfires.
For many years, EuroCompany99 has nurtured the principles of sustainability, environmental care, and responsibility toward the local community. Through this year’s “Snack and Donate” campaign, the purchase of Family Pack products helped us raise funds to support the Boranka initiative—the largest volunteer reforestation campaign in Europe. By taking part directly in the field planting, our employees once again demonstrated that the values we promote are truly lived—not only through marketing messages, but through real action on the ground.
On Saturday, September 27, our volunteers, together with more than 200 other participants—including members of the Croatian Scout Association, local school students, representatives of Croatian Forests, the Red Cross, and the local community—planted native tree species such as downy oak and stone pine, under the professional supervision of forestry engineers.
With smiles, energy, and great enthusiasm, hundreds of seedlings were planted, which in the years to come will serve as a lasting reminder of the power of unity and care for nature.
Our campaign “Snack and Donate for a Greener Croatia” had a multi-layered goal—on one hand, to raise awareness of responsible consumption, and on the other, to enable concrete environmental action. Through a strong market presence and collaboration with media, influencers, and partners, we encouraged thousands of consumers to become part of a larger, positive story through their product choices.
The reforestation in Medena symbolically brought the campaign to a close, while also opening the door to new CSR initiatives that lie ahead. Caring for the environment is not seasonal for us—it is a long-term commitment and an integral part of our business strategy.
We would like to thank all our employees who took part, as well as everyone who contributed to this initiative through their work, support, and engagement.
We are proud to be part of this story—because a green future is built today.
